A flat bottomed Dutch oven allows for use on induction, open fire, gas, electricity, and in BBQs. The flat bottom also means it can go on an oven rack, We have also included a cast iron grate for raising the Dutch oven over the coals (or for using as a pot stand).
A twin handled 10" pan is big enough for steaks and burgers, but a nice size for most hobs and BBQs. The two handles allow you to transfer it from flame or hob to oven or BBQ.

Cast Iron Quick Info
Hob Type
Cast iron works on every type of hob and all of our cast iron is oven friendly. Be aware that cast iron is heavy and can scratch or break glass hobs if you are not gentle. Dutch ovens with legs work best on gas or open fire. All cast iron is suitable for all BBQs.
Seasoning
All cast iron we sell is pre-seasoned. This means the factory have added a light coat of oil. We recommend you season again either before use or after a few uses. Use our care conditioner (below), rapeseed oil, or sunflower oil.
Caring for Cast Iron
It couldn't be easier. Keep it out of the dishwasher, heat it up gently, cool it down gently, and season it every couple of years if needed. We highly recommend a chainmail scrubber for cleaning. They are amazing.
